MAYFAIR in a nutshell, from the home of super prime
We all know Mayfair as one of the most expensive districts in the world which has managed to maintain this affluent status over the years.
The district got its name from the “May Fair” market, which was held from 1686 to 1764 in the Shepherd’s Market.
The area of Mayfair runs from Piccadilly Circus to Hyde Park Corner, along Park Lane and then along to Oxford Circus. Hotels tend to be clustered mostly along Park Lane and Piccadilly, with more shops around Oxford Circus.
