As the festive season is upon us, we invited Katharine Pooley back this week to discuss a charity organisation that she works very closely with, The Childhood Trust.
There are so many children out there who have nothing, literally nothing and what The Childhood Trust does is they partner with designers and suppliers to design childrens bedrooms, all on a very tight budget of £500 per room.
Katharine tasks all of her designers with designing one room a year, using every resource they have available and being creative around sourcing furniture and bedding. Partners who have donated previously include The White Company, IKEA, Hamley’s, WH Smith and The Rug Company.
